Short version: we use Google Analytics cookies to understand how people find and use this site, but only if you accept them. No advertising, no selling of data. If you reject them, or do nothing, no cookies are set.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as your browser's local and session storage, work in a similar way. The law (Spain's LSSI-CE, art. 22.2, and the GDPR) requires a website to ask your permission before using them, unless they are strictly necessary for the website to work or for something you asked for.

What this website uses

Analytics cookies, only if you accept. Google Analytics, provided by Google Ireland Ltd, tells us how many people visit, which pages they read and roughly where they come from (country and city, never your exact address). Google Analytics does not record or store your IP address. We do not use it for advertising and have turned off advertising features.

Necessary storage, always. Two small items in your browser's storage that are needed for the site to work as you asked. They hold nothing about you and need no consent.

Purpose: Remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics cookies, so we don't ask on every page.
Duration: 12 months, then we ask again

Name: ss-intro
Purpose: Remembers that you have already seen the opening animation, so it only plays once per visit.
Duration: Deleted when you close the browser tab.

Changing your mind

You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw your consent, we delete the analytics cookies from your browser. You can also block Google Analytics on every website with Google's opt-out add-on.

Third-party services

Google Analytics. If you accept analytics cookies, your browser loads Google Analytics from Google's servers. Google may process this data in the United States, under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Fonts. Our typefaces are served from this website itself, so loading them does not connect your browser to Google or any other company.

Instagram and YouTube. Our links to Instagram and YouTube are plain links: nothing from those services loads on this website. If you follow a link, their own cookie and privacy policies apply on their sites.

If we add other tools that use cookies, such as embedded videos, we will ask for your permission first and update this page.
