This page explains what personal data Saecred Sounds collects, why, and what you can do about it. We keep it short: we only collect what we need to reply to you, send you our newsletter if you ask for it, and run our gatherings. We never sell your data.
The controller of your personal data is:
We follow the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Spain's Organic Law 3/2018 on Data Protection (LOPDGDD) and Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services (LSSI-CE).
When you write to us through the contact form or by email: your name, your email address and your message. We use them only to reply and to continue the conversation. Legal basis: your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form (GDPR art. 6.1.a).
When you subscribe to the newsletter: your email address. For now, your address reaches our inbox through Web3Forms and we keep the subscriber list in our Google Workspace account. Before we move the list to a newsletter service, we will update this policy. We use it to send one note before each gathering, with invitations and news of the community. Legal basis: your consent (GDPR art. 6.1.a). Every email has a link to unsubscribe, and you can also write to us.
When you buy a ticket: your name, email address and the details of your purchase. Tickets are sold through Luma (luma.com), which processes your payment; we never see or store your card details. We use your details to manage your place at the gathering and contact you about it. Legal basis: carrying out the contract you enter into when you buy a ticket (GDPR art. 6.1.b), and our legal obligations for tax and accounting (GDPR art. 6.1.c).
Photos and film at our gatherings: we photograph and film our gatherings and may share the images on this website and on our social media. We tell you this at the gathering. If you would rather not appear, tell our team on the day or write to us at any time, and we will not use, or will remove, images in which you can be recognised. Legal basis: your consent (GDPR art. 6.1.a).
When you visit this website: like any website, our hosting provider receives technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, and keeps it in short-lived server logs to deliver the site and keep it secure. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure website (GDPR art. 6.1.f).
Analytics, only if you accept: if you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics collects information about your visit, such as the pages you view, how long you stay, your device and browser, and your approximate location (country and city). It does not identify you by name and does not store your IP address. We use it to understand what works on the site. Legal basis: your consent (GDPR art. 6.1.a and LSSI-CE art. 22.2), which you can withdraw at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. See our Cookie policy.
We do not sell or rent your data. We share it only with the service providers that help us run Saecred Sounds, who act on our instructions under a data processing agreement:
We may also disclose data when the law requires it, for example to tax authorities.
Some of these providers, such as Google, Vercel and Web3Forms, may process data outside the European Union, including in the United States. When that happens the transfer is protected by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
You can ask us at any time to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time; this does not affect anything we did before. Write to hi@saecredsounds.com and we will answer within one month.
If you think we have not handled your data properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, www.aepd.es).
This website and our newsletter are not meant for children under 14, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
We keep your data with reputable providers, limit who can see it and only keep it as long as we need it.
If we change this policy we will publish the new version here with a new date. If the change is significant, we will tell newsletter subscribers.
